Liking a gay or liking a committed one?

Hi there! Nicole here and this is my first ever post here at my blog..

It was yesterday while I was waiting for my NatSci class to start and I was with my friend. We were talking about different matters (KPOP, Attack on the Pin-up Boys, etc.) when this topic came..

"Teh, ano bang mas maganda? ang magka-crush sa bakla o sa taken na?" /*Translation: Girl, which is better? having a crush with a gay or with someone who's already taken?*/

Without hesitation, I answered this:

"Teh, dun na sa committed. Wala naman kasing masama dun eh." /*Translation: Girl, I think it is to someone who is already committed. Actually, there's nothing wrong with that.*/

Well that's true. A crush is simply an infatuation. Not real love. And besides, you just like the person. The bad thing is ... you'll do something to make him like you more. That's what you call in Filipino "panunulot". Well, it's up for the guy if he will ignore your moves or not. Still, it is bad.

What if i chose to like the gay one? Hmm.. what can be a valid reason for liking him (or her, whichever he prefers)?

Well, liking a guy is still not bad. But remember, he is physically a guy, but emotionally a gal. Liking him might be a form of disrespecting him. Like the impact is that you don't accept what he is because you like him.

Oh well. I don't have any experiences on these things so I can't say things straight from the heart. You can share your thoughts & experiences about this. Feel free!
